The ideal candidate will be a dynamic thinker who can work cross-functionally to solve complex challenges with uncertain inputs and outputs.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage team operations across Crypto. Advising on and setting meeting cadences, agenda, and content for team meetings (within and across BUs/functions), taking notes and managing follow ups, where appropriate
  • Identify areas where we can optimize processes and increase efficiencies, leveraging AI, developing recommendations, and driving execution of solutions
  • Partnering with Crypto teams to help set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) each year and quarter (numerical target), including helping identify opportunities and risks to meeting these OKRs
  • Gathering requirements / dependencies from other BUs to inform roadmaps / priorities
  • Lead quarterly and annual planning for the Crypto Business Unit, partnering closely with leaders (specifically business operations leads and chiefs of staff) across teams to coordinate materials, help align initiatives, and connect dots across teams to make us more efficient. Specifically:
    • Working with Finance and the Product Design organization to determine timelines and requirements (e.g. content, constraints) for planning
    • Managing to company timelines → working back from planning deadlines to set milestones and keep the team organized to meet the requirements of the planning process
    • Organizing work to meet planning requirements across our teams (business operations, business leads, finance, product, marketing, data science, etc)
  • Owning content creation to support planning requirements and Board, Executive and Regulatory updates, including but not limited to performance against OKRs and analyses on “the why”
  • Supporting planning sessions / offsites, including advising on agenda, creating templates and content, driving followups and tracking action items (and reporting on these as a follow up to the session), and providing support to business and product teams where needed during the session or offsite
  • Lead key communications and reporting for the Crypto Business Unit, including but not limited to:
    • Updates for Executive Staff and business and functional leadership on Crypto priorities, issues, risks and dependencies
    • Helping Crypto teams track, monitor, and analyze performance against their OKRs, including setting up dashboards and running ad hoc analyses to diagnose changes to performance trends as required
    • Advising on and crafting communications within our BU, communications with stakeholders, etc.
  • Support the Crypto BU in risk management initiatives (establish an operating framework, setting agenda, facilitating conversations, working with business lead and business control partners to escalate roadblocks)
  • Responsible for vendor management, and invoicing for the Crypto BU
  • Serve as the primary business liaison for engagement with internal audit, ensuring organizational readiness and overseeing the timely remediation of control findings
  • Support a robust business control framework, partnering with stakeholders to proactively identify operational risks and drive process improvements
  • Generally serve as the “strategic advisor” for the BU given intimate knowledge of our business and how they fit into the overall organization, standing in for the GBUL as needed to represent the Crypto BU
  • Generally keeping a pulse on the team and key stakeholders to advise on where we can improve as a BU and across BUs/functions to drive more impact and improved team health
  • Personally own/drive marquee projects (notably those with cross-functional impact) that support our objectives as needed

What you'll need:

  • 12+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, management consulting, chief of staff, or related roles
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets / crypto industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior leadership (VP+ level)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, spreadsheet modeling, and/or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) to independently pull and analyze data
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional programs from ambiguity through execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex topics into concise executive-ready materials
  • Experience with OKR frameworks, strategic planning processes, and operating cadences at scale
  • Ability to context-switch rapidly and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • MBA preferred
  • Understanding of crypto/digital asset market dynamics, regulatory landscape (SEC, CFTC, state money transmitter frameworks), and industry trends

  • Familiarity with AI/automation tools and a track record of applying them to drive operational efficiency
