Description and Requirements
Job Title: Sr. Dental and Vision Product Consultant I
Job Location: Virtual
Role Value Proposition:
This role is responsible for supporting the Dental and Vision Product Directors in the Product COE. This position will also provide technical product support and deep advisory/consultative expertise to sales partners, proposal and underwriting teams in those product areas.
Key Responsibilities:

  • The individual will need to understand the products that are within the area of expertise at a detailed level
  • Support Sales, proposals and underwriting with Technical Product questions
  • Revise dental and vision plan reviews for external use; evaluate and determine variable language or alternative plan options for National Accounts cases
  • RFP / RFI support (QA and edits, as well as development of responses, for RFP and RFI responses)
  • Supporting product development initiatives as SME
  • Reporting support (i.e. benchmarking, disruption reports)
  • Support in market resources for customer meetings (finalist, stewardship and broker meetings)
  • Support development of training material (GBSU, Met U, Underwriting, Sales Academy)
  • Support internal product training as needed
  • Partner with marketing on finalist and sales collateral development
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required.


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:

  • Firm knowledge of group products, services and systems
  • 5+ years Group Benefits Industry knowledge
  • Strong Knowledge of Dental and Vision products
  • Strong knowledge of competitors and Industry Best Practices
  • Ability to create strong internal and external partnerships
  • High school diploma or equivalent required


Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, Advanced Degree a plus


The salary range for applicants for this position is 76,500 - 95,000.
