What You’ll Do

  • Supervise, mentor, and train a team of collections specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals

  • Develop and implement effective collections strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and optimize cash flow

  • Review and prioritize outstanding accounts, determining appropriate collection actions and strategies

  • Manage customer interactions regarding payment terms, disputes, and resolutions while maintaining a professional demeanor

  • Analyze team performance metrics, preparing reports for management on collection efficiency and outcomes

  • Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Identify and resolve complex issues related to accounts receivable and collections processes

  • Conduct ongoing training sessions for the collections team to improve skills and knowledge in collections techniques to support company objectives

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in collections, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong understanding of B2B collections processes, SaaS billing models, and financial principles

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet goals and targets

Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

  • 10% Travel for customer and internal meetings

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $68,000.00 - $108,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
