Job Responsibilities:
Required Capabilities
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, math data, reports, instructions and guidelines
- Proficient in MSA and SPC (Training to be provided)
- Proficient in using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Proficient in using measuring instruments, i.e. caliper, micrometer, height gages, etc.
- Able to use Brown & Sharp DCC Coordinate Measuring Machine.
- Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
- Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
- Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
- Proficient in personal computer operation and applications in a MS Windows operating system.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customer
- Able to safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Able to safely use slings and hoists
- Able to maintain punctuality and good attendance record
- Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact
- Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to work flexible hours and overtime
- Must display a can-do attitude and be able to work and perform job responsibilities with a minimum amount of direct supervision
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GE
- 3+ years’ experience operating a CMM machine.
- Successful completion of AIAG MSA Certification Exam to be done within one year from hire date. If certification expires (e.g. every 3 years) employee must be re-certified prior to expiration.
