As a Business Systems Analyst Consultant within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst who is detail oriented professional with exceptional problem solving skills , a passion for technology and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, collaborative team player, Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and attention to details. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with complex enterprise environments.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating and coordinating requirements or user story testing by working
with the line of business, Quality Engineers, technology to confirm the
developed solution meets all initiative requirements.
- Collaborating with key leaders and subject matter experts to elicit, define, and
document initiative needs.
-Acting as a subject matter expert on business or technology processes and
analysis techniques to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for
improvement.
- Translating initiative needs into requirements or user stories using applicable
methodology.
- Gathering requirements from business units and translating those to
programmers and developers.
- Assessing and documenting the impacts of suggested requirements or user
stories to provide a thorough understanding of current and future states of the
impacted areas.
- Escalating risks, dependencies, and issues to the designated leaders.
- Collaborating with leaders to document scope or requirement changes for
approval.
- Creating requirements or user stories, data mapping, and flow diagrams by
using standard tools.
- Establishing process performance data and metrics for ongoing business as
usual (BAU) support.
- Improving quality by creating clear acceptance criteria and providing guidance
on defect management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
- Requirements Gathering and documentation – Expertise in eliciting , analyzing
and documenting business and system requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in agile environment
- Experience with data pipelines and tools
- Experience with effectively prioritizing and executing tasks successfully.
- Experience in Finance domain preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking and stakeholder management abilities

Job Description

  • Provides solutions for IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities, planning and implementation of cross-functional applications.
  • Participates in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements .
  • Monitors client experiences and feedback on the use of business applications; Enhanced system productivity, as needed .
  • Provides senior level consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve their business results .
  • Analyzes, defines and documents clients requirements, and revises existing systems logic challenges, as necessary .
