The Opportunity
As part of the Global Marketing Technology organization, the AVP Marketing Technology Strategy is responsible for leading the business functions for the organization to drive business outcomes aligned to with Global Marketing & Communications and Global Technology & Operations strategies and policies.
This is an exciting , high-visibility opportunity to drive the multi-platform strategy and run the business of MarTech in a marketing transformation across the US and India in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Success in this role requires demonstrated leadership and collaboration to drive sound organization management in a transformational environment, excellent communication skills, and high tolerance for ambiguity . Leadership experience in technology and vendor strategy , execution, and governance in large, multi-line organizations . Business or technology organizational transformation is a plus .
Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across functional teams is required .
The AVP Marketing Technology Strategy is responsible for team performance management, vendor management, audit, compliance, and strategy planning and execution .
You'll collaborate closely with leaders in Global Marketing & Communications , Global Technology & Operations, and Lines of Business in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead p rioritizing the organization's agenda and management to assure alignment with Global Brand & Marketing, Lines of Business, and Global Technology & Operations strategies.


  • Oversee strategic planning and annual planning process


  • Drive vendor portfolio and manages supplier strategy and compliance with Vendor Management Office


  • Drive compliance and auditable standards and audit remediations


  • Manage individual performance and talent development aligned to HR processes


  • Develop and manage team performance measurement (OKRs) , oversee improvement spanning all delivery and operational functions .


  • Partner with the Global Enterprise Platform leadership for financial management , Safe Agile Implementation


  • Partner with lines of business , Global Technology Operations, and Global Brand and Marketing leadership and teams


  • Manage communications and PR for MarTech , with a lens toward team brand-building


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Domain experience in marketing and/or marketing technology


  • Domain experience in technology & operations


  • Team leadership and management experience in a matrixed, large organization


  • Change management experience across people, process, and technology dimensions


  • Experience with vendor management


  • Experience with financial management of large budgets for CapEx and OpEx - development and operations


  • Experience with strategic planning


  • Experience with corporate annual planning


  • Experience with Agile - prefer ably SAFE


  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders in a highly-matrixed and regulated organization


What Can Give You an Edge (Additional Skills)

  • Bachelor's or m aster's degree in a related business or technology discipline.


  • 2+ years experience with several following platforms: Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (CDP), Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Medallia, Decibel, Sprinklr.


  • Strong understanding of the Marketing Technology landscape with an ability to articulate and navigate the breadth of solutions and partners in this field.


  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment with matrix organizational management.


  • Excellen t c ommunicatio n and presentation skills , with the ability to articulate complex technology designs at all levels of the organization.


  • Experience in technology transformations, either within global organizations or through start-up companies leading transformative shifts.


  • Experience integrating marketing applications with other enterprise applications, as well as internal and external data sources.


  • Exposure to user experience design and best practices .


  • Start-up minded, with a lean towards action and test & learn practices.


The salary range for applicants for this position is $154,700 to $206,300.
