As an Assembly/Test Technician on our dynamic second shift team (3-11 PM), you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing our cutting-edge Opto- Electronic products that power high-performance networks. Collaborating closely with engineers and fellow technicians, you will contribute to continuous improvements in manufacturing yields and throughput in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Your keen attention to detail and fine motor skills will be essential as you tackle complex tasks and adapt to evolving demands. Responsibilities

 Assemble and test advanced Opto-Electronic products with precision and attention to detail.

  • Adapt to dynamic tasks and evolving requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with management, engineering, and peers to enhance manufacturing yields and throughput.
  • Demonstrate fine motor skills and a meticulous approach to complex product assembly.
  • Utilize MS Windows and MS Office software for documentation and report generation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Be proactive in learning new technologies and processes relevant to the role.
  • Be available for overtime to meet production demands and support team goals.
 

Qualifications

You have:

  • High attention to detail and strong fine motor skills
  • Able to comprehend and follow instructions of varying complexity
  • Adaptability to changing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with MS Windows and MS Office software

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Background in manufacturing Opto- Electronic products
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed for project demands
  • Previous experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment
