To excel in this position, you should have a proven track record of managing security within complex environments, particularly within the defense industry. Your ability to navigate the complexities of application security, coupled with strong client-facing skills, will be pivotal. Experience interfacing with various project stakeholders, and a strategic mindset towards problem-solving will set you apart as a candidate. Your role will not only require technical expertise but also the leadership to drive security initiatives that support the Department's mission-critical operations.
