From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a Systems Analyst, you’ll deliver and sustain technology and process solutions that enable strategic initiatives and operational improvements. You’ll partner across IT and the business to define requirements, design user-centric solutions, configure and test systems, and support critical production environments—driving alignment and continuous improvement along the way.

As a Systems Analyst, you will…

  • Lead solution design and delivery – define scope and solution options, direct requirements and user stories, partner with project teams on estimates/timelines, and apply Agile/Scrum and Lean techniques to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Configure and validate solutions – perform (or direct) application configuration (attributes, workflows, UI changes), support data conversion (extract, load, validation), and build/execute test plans while validating results (including complex queries and operational reporting as needed).
  • Own production support and stability – provide (or direct) 24x7 support for critical systems, lead root-cause analysis and trend insights, coordinate cross-team/vendor resolution, and maintain documentation and training for users and support partners.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 7–10+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis, solution design, and IT operations
  • Strong capability in requirements analysis, solution design, and configuration/integration points for relevant applications/platforms
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and service-oriented architecture (SOA) concepts

Preferred qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including leading complex initiatives and multiple tracks of work
  • Experience driving process re-engineering/Lean improvements and user-centric design practices
  • Experience leading data conversion and advanced query/reporting for operational insights
  • Demonstrated success coaching/mentoring analysts and influencing alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
