The IoT Innovation Lab

In 2019, we lunched the IoT Innovation Lab, which researches, designs and deploys IoT solutions that help our customers avoid preventable losses and reduce their cost of risk. We use network-connected devices in homes and businesses to reduce and mitigate hazards like water damage from broken pipes or unsafe working conditions. We specialize in iOT imagery, which users AI and machine learning to detect risks. And our wearable technology provides data to reduce the risk of injury. The IoT Innovation Lab helps us better serve our customers and provide them with unique insights to keep them safe.

We think a lot about really defining the customer value and how we keep the customer at the center of everything we're doing. So when we think about deploying a solution we want to make sure it really maximizes the benefit.

As a recent graduate, you can be a part of the Early Career Leadership Development Program, which gives employees a deep understanding of our business. There's also the HartCode Academy Developer Program, which teaches non-tech team members how to become junior developers. And The Hartford tech organization hosts events each year where employees across the country can share the work they're doing and how it's integrated across the company.
